The interior of the house is full of interest with fine well proportioned rooms. Space is available in the extensive Hall, the tapestry hung Dining Room and the beautifully light Music Room.
The Hall
The Hall sets the tone of the house. It is light, spacious, beautifully furnished and is ideal as a meeting place before an event elsewhere, as an overflow from other rooms or just for drinks.
The Music Room
This room was added to the house in the mid 1800’s in order to give more scope for entertaining and it serves this purpose admirably today.
It is a spacious room with a high Jacobean style ceiling and is decorated with classical paintings and other interesting artefacts. The windows are almost floor to ceiling which allows the light to flood in during the day and the windows look out on to the garden if need be the windows can be blacked out for presentations etc if required.
It is frequently used for Civil Wedding Ceremonies but it is very adaptable and can be used for almost any form of entertainment as well as lectures and presentations etc - a fashion display was recently staged here.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room is an integral part of the original house. It is marginally smaller than the Music Room and its tall Georgian windows looking out on to the garden make it light and airy. It is hung with tapestries and has other interesting furnishings.
It is also popular for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and is a superb setting for receptions or buffet or seated meals. It is also much in demand for more formal dinners with guests seated at one long table.
Room to change
A bedroom is available for brides (or others) to change in.
Accomodation
Accomodation in the house is very limited but a bedroom may at times be available. There is however a wealth of hotel and B & B accomodation in the immediate area.
